Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), K Radhakrishnan hailed the momentous 100th mission, the launch of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C21). The PSLV-C21 successfully zoomed into the sky from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking with the mediapersons, Radhakrishnan added that another noteworthy landmark was that this was the heaviest customer satellite launched on PSLV. He also said that the proposed grand Mars project is going to be one more major milestone in the history of India's space research.
