    He was playing chicken, swerving back and forth onto the shoulder of the highway. I hope he was given a nice hefty fine and had demerit points taken off his license.

    Dude, those are cold snowy roads. You do not want to be driving like this under these conditions. Driving while sleepy is the same as driving while intoxicated.
