this lobster is full of neuro toxins at this age and can make you very sick it would be tough and stringy to eat with an off taste it should be put back and allowed to breed as it has successfully done all along

You know your lobster Toma and your right in suggesting they put it back to continue breeding lobsters that would be tasty and healthy to eat. BTW, one day this westerner is going to make it out to Nova Scotia and taste them lobster fresh out of the Atlantic Ocean. Do they also fish them out of the Gulf or the Bay?

Not for nothing these were also regarded as "unclean" things (not animals) to eat by the Hebrews in the Desert. Man will eat anything that crawls. These are nothing less than marine cockroaches, feeding from all the pollution and crap on the bottom. Wow...how tasty those neuro toxins may be (why do you think they do not sell much 'frozen lobsters'? Because they are so lethal when they are not fresh from the ocean).

With the BP oil leaks they had on the Atlantic coast, I think that ALL marine species are lethal now...I am not anything that comes from there...Leaded or unleaded fish tonight sir?...LOL Bon Appetit

Looks like a breeder, perhaps there should be a regulation to release lobsters after theyve reached a certain size.

This amazing Lobster should be put back and left alone! The problem is, if it is caught again will it be by an idiot that would mount it and put it on his wall.
As much as it is a shame this beautiful specimen was taken out of its habitat....it might be safer in an aquarium then in the hands of moron trophy seekers!

I might be wrong about the number but I think a lobster of 42 lbs was caught in the Bay of Fundy about ten years ago and I didn't notice any mention of that in the story.
