Woman killed in head-on crash with semi tractor-trailer
A 57-year-old woman was killed Tuesday when her Hyundai Tucson crossed the centre line and crashed into a semi tractor-trailer.
The crash occurred around 6:15 p.m. on Highway 21 between Township Road 510 and Township Road 512 in Strathcona County.
The woman died at the scene. The 29-year-old man driving the truck was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Investigators haven’t determined if drugs, alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
Police have already ruled out road conditions and weather.
