1 dead, others wounded when gunfire erupts in a North Carolina home Saturday, police say
A person died and others were wounded when gunfire erupted in a North Carolina home early Saturday, police said.
Police have released few details about the shooting in a home in the 3300 block of Colony Drive in High Point around 12:20 a.m.
Officers found four people in the home after responding to a call about the shooting, according to a High Point Police Department news release.
One person was dead, and EMS took two others who were shot to a hospital. The injured were in stable condition, police said.
Police haven’t released the names of the people who were shot or said if they have a suspect. Police said only that “no charges have been filed” and the investigation remains “active.”
