1 man in critical condition after shooting in west Edmonton
Police are investigating after a shooting in west Edmonton left a 30-year-old man in critical condition.
Police were called to the area of 133rd Street and 155th Avenue around 5 a.m. MT on Saturday morning. A man had been shot in a nearby residence, but managed to make it to a neighbour's for help.
The suspect had fled the area and the man who was shot was taken to hospital where he remains.
Police believe the suspect and the man who was shot knew each other and that this was not a random incident.
The homicide unit is now investigating.
This is the third shooting police have responded to in 24-hours.
