A man was killed and two others were injured in an early morning crash in northeast Toronto Wednesday.

According to a news released from Toronto police, a black Jaguar F-Pace SUV was going west on Steeles Avenue past Sewells Road around 3 a.m., when the driver lost control and struck the ditch, causing the vehicle to roll several times.

A 19-year-old man was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, police say. Two other men, 19 and 20, who were also inside were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Steeles Avenue was closed in both directions from Ninth Line to Reesor Road for a police investigation.

Police are asking local residents, business and drivers who may have security or dash camera footage and were in the area to contact investigators.
