Tammy Slaton has significantly cut back on the amount of soda she’s drinking.

On Wednesday, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star, 37, posted a TikTok video responding to one follower who asked if she’s still drinking up to 12 cans of soda — which she calls “sodies" — each day.

“Actually no, I don’t drink sodies that often anymore,” the 37-year-old reveals. “I mean, maybe two 12 oz. cans a day, sometimes not even that. Sometimes just one, sometimes not at all.”

“I mainly drink water now,” she says with a smile. “Or if I do drink something else it’s tea…diet tea or sugar free Gatorades. I do like drinking Crystal Light packets, stuff like that sometimes….but plain ordinary water.”

The fan’s question refers to the first season of the TLC series, which aired in 2020, when Tammy and her sister Amy first met with Taylor, a dietician on the show, to discuss their unhealthy eating and love for soda.

When Taylor asked if the siblings drink water at all, they both said no. “What are you drinking during the day?” she asked before Amy replied, “Sodies….sodie pops.”

“And how much do you think you drink a day?” the dietitian followed up.

Tammy said, “Oh s—. Eight to 12 [cans] a day.”

During the episode, Amy quickly clarified that they're drinking diet soda, adding, “Our mom told us when we were younger, if we ate a sugar, you drink a Diet Coke afterwards and it’ll cancel out the sugar.”

Tammy and Amy have come a long way in their respective weight loss journeys since that first season, losing enough to qualify for surgery, which Tammy had in 2022 and Amy had in 2020.

Back in May, Tammy posted a couple photos of herself drinking a bottle of Diet Coke, joking on her Instagram Story about still having a love for soda even after her dramatic weight loss.

"LOL I am a diet sodie ambassador," she wrote.

The season 5 premiere of 1000-Lb. Sisters airs Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 9PM ET/PT.
