The Maritimes are coming to Grimsby, as the Town hosts Prince Edward Island as part of the 13 for 13 festival.
On Aug. 20, the Peach King Centre will host the Atlantic province with a series of culinary and musical experiences.
Visitors will be able to sample P.E.I. cuisine of courtesy of Chef Robert Pendergast at 4:30, 5:45 and 6:45 p.m., and east-coast beverages will be offered by the PEI Brewing Company.
To complete the P.E.I. kitchen party, music will be offered by musical acts from the island.
Fiddler Cynthia MacLeod will start the music at 5 and 6:15 p.m., before handing over the stage to singer-songwriter Andrew Waite at 7:45 p.m.
The Richard Wood Trio will round off the night at 8.45 p.m.
The 13 for 13 festival is part of the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games and partners Canada’s 13 provinces and territories with Niagara’s 12 municipalities and the region.
