16-year-old girl located safe after Elk Grove police, CHP reported her missing
Authorities said a 16-year-old teen who went missing, prompting an endangered missing person alert Wednesday, has been located safely.
The Elk Grove Police Department said shortly after 10 p.m. that the teen had been “found safe and reunited with her family.”
The California Highway Patrol had issued an endangered missing person alert for her just before 5 p.m. after the girl went missing about 11 a.m. Wednesday near Florin Road and Luther Drive in south Sacramento’s Parkway neighborhood.
