18-year-old man dead after Sunday evening shooting in Ottawa

An 18-year-old man is dead following a shooting in Ottawa yesterday.

Police say emergency crews responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Percy Street and Nepean Street Sunday evening.

They say an 18-year-old man has died as a result of the incident.

Police say the victim has been identified as Quentin Dorsainvil of Ottawa.

A second victim also suffered non-life-threatening gunshot injuries but that victim has been treated and released from the hospital.

Police say one person is in custody for firearm offences and the investigation is ongoing.
