1918 flu survivor dies after COVID-19 at age 105

Primetta Giacopini's life began and ended with pandemics. The 105-year-old California woman was two years old when she lost her mother to the Spanish flu in 1918. After a long, adventurous life, Giacopini died of COVID-19 on Sept. 16. (Sept. 30)
