2-alarm fire spread quickly across 10 rowhomes in Hampden

One person was injured after a two-alarm fire spread quickly overnight across multiple rowhomes in Hampden. Officials said firefighters were called around 2:30 a.m. Thursday to the 800 block of Union Avenue to find two rowhomes on fire. "Once on the scene, units saw two-story dwellings, multiple dwellings on fire, and they quickly upgraded to a second alarm. At this time, we have 10 homes affected -- eight by fire, two by heavy smoke," Baltimore City fire Capt. Khalilah Yancey said.
