Homicide unit investigating after 2 dead in northwest Toronto home

Toronto police homicide investigators have been called in after two people died at a home in the city's northwest end Wednesday.

Emergency crews were called just after 12:30 p.m to Whitmore Avenue and Dufferin Street, where a man and woman were found with "obvious signs of trauma."

Paramedics tried to save their lives, but both were pronounced dead at the scene.

In a news release Thursday, police said they do not believe there are any outstanding suspects.
