2 men charged with attempted murder after stabbing in Norway House, Man.

A pair of Manitoba men have been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed multiple times in a residence in Norway House, Man.

Just before 7 a.m. on March 23, Norway House RCMP went to the house after a stabbing was reported. They were told two men entered the home and attacked the 20-year-old man inside.

The 20-year-old was taken to the local hospital and later flown to Winnipeg in serious condition, RCMP said in a news release on Tuesday.

A 25-year-old and a 23-year-old were charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated assault, breaking and entering and several probation order violations, police said. They're both from Norway House Cree Nation and remain in custody.

The investigation continues.
