2 people injured after truck, car roll over in dramatic Kanata crash
Two people were injured — one of them seriously — after a dramatic crash on Thursday night that caused both the pickup truck and the car involved to roll over.
It happened on Herzberg Road, north of March Road in the west Ottawa suburb of Kanata, just before 8 p.m, paramedics said in a media release.
A 39-year-old man suffered multi-system trauma and was taken to The Ottawa Hospital's Civic campus trauma unit in serious but stable condition.
A 21-year-old man suffered minor soft tissue injuries and was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Ottawa police are investigating the crash.
