This dog got his head stuck in a cat flap

Firefighters had to come to the rescue of a Staffordshire bull terrier who got into a bit of a tight spot.

According to his owner, Jock was in such a hurry to get outside that he didn't take into account the size of his body and the dimensions of the cat flap he was trying to squeeze through.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to assist in removing the cat flap from the dog's head after he had made it into the garden, albeit with the frame stuck fast on his head.
