2024 Acura Integra Type S Will Make 320 HP
Acura announced Monday its upcoming 2024 Integra Type S will deliver 320 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque from its turbocharged inline-four engine.
The company released a short 10-second teaser video showing the car accelerating, along with a close-up of its three center-mounted exhaust pipes and its design. The Type S is wider, and comes with larger tires and a spoiler. It's here we also get our first peek at what the Type S will sound like.
The 2024 Acura Integra Type S and the Honda Civic Type R are siblings, meaning the Integra will get the same VTEC-powered drivetrain under the hood, albeit with a tiny bump in power (the Civic makes due with just 315 horses and 310 lb-ft). That also means the Integra will come exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission sending power to the front wheels.
Acura plans to reveal the Integra Type S at the Grand Prix of Long Beach, where it is the title sponsor, the weekend of April 14-16. So we won't have to wait long to get all the details.
