Police say a 22-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash that happened on the Trans-Canada Highway near Norris Arm on Friday.
In a news release, the RCMP said it received the report of the crash shortly after 2 p.m. on Friday.
After arriving to the scene, officers determined the vehicle had veered off the TCH, according to police. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene.
The passenger was sent to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, police say.
No other details — including what caused the car or truck to swerve off the highway — were provided by the police.
The investigation is continuing.
