25 years of action thriller film ‘Gupt’ in Mumbai
STORY: Devgn and Deol said they felt elated for completing 25 years of the film, which many critics believed was made much ahead of its time.
"I never thought that I would celebrate the silver jubilee of my film. I am very happy," said Deol.
Directed by Rajiv Rai in 1997, the film featured Deol as the lead character named 'Sahil' along with Indian actress Manisha Koirala, while Devgan played her first negative role, which made her win several awards, including the prestigious Filmfare.
The action thriller explores a murder mystery where Sahil becomes the prime suspect. The story is about his struggle to find the murderer and prove himself innocent.
The music of the film also received widespread appreciation from the audience.
