27-year-old worker dies after falling from Leamington greenhouse, prompting investigation

A fall at a greenhouse has claimed the life of a 27-year-old man, according to Ontario Provincial Police and the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development.

Police said the incident happened around 1:30 Monday afternoon on Mersea Road 8 in Leamington, Ont.

The worker was pronounced dead at the scene.

The ministry confirmed the incident took place at Lebo Farms in Leamington, where the worker fell from a roof.

An investigation into the incident remains ongoing, according to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Labour.
