Second man faces capital murder charge in connection with Fort Worth double homicide
A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the double homicide of a father and son at a north Fort Worth home in June, jail records show.
Zawon Hinton, 21, was booked into the Fort Worth City Jail on Wednesday. He faces a capital murder of multiple persons charge, according to police records.
Jaime Francisco Reyna, 24, and Jaime Ignacio Reyna, 46, were fatally shot in the early morning hours of June 4 at their home in the 3800 block of Elm Street. Police confirmed the men were father and son.
Homicide detectives learned that the shooting had taken place during an altercation inside the house between the victims and an unidentified suspect or suspects, police said.
Both men died from gunshot wounds, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s website. The father died at the scene, and the son died a short time later at John Peter Smith Hospital. Their deaths were ruled homicides.
Antonio Dowlen, 42, was arrested June 10 in connection with the fatal shootings. He’s being held in the Tarrant County Jail and was indicted Friday on the the charge of capital murder of multiple persons.
