3 employees stabbed at Crescent Street bar

Three people were stabbed just as bars were closing early this morning in Montreal.

The victims were employees of a bar on Crescent Street.

Two of them, aged 19 and 38, were hospitalized for upper body injuries, while a 21-year-old was injured in the leg.

The suspect is a 26-year-old man.

Police say he fled the scene but was quickly stopped and arrested nearby.

Investigators are questioning him and say they still aren't sure why he attacked the employees.

Police wouldn't identify the bar where the stabbing took place.
