3 stolen vehicles found together in Queens County
The RCMP say they found three stolen vehicles in Mount Herbert, P.E.I., overnight and are looking for another stolen car that went missing early this morning.
Queens County RCMP said they responded to a complaint abut three suspicious people walking down the road in Mount Herbert at about 4 a.m.
When an officer arrived, the people were gone but three vehicles were found on a piece of vacant property. When the registered owners were contacted, police learned the three vehicles had been stolen from three different locations: Charlottetown, Vernon Bridge and Ten Mile House.
Brown 2002 Honda Civic
The RCMP is also asking the public for help to locate a missing car: a brown 2002 Honda Civic with P.E.I. plate 514 KP. It was reported as stolen at 4:15 a.m. from Ten Mile House.
RCMP say they used police dog services during the night, and the forensic identification unit will be working on the investigation Friday.
Anyone with information about who the three people walking in the Mount Herbert might be are asked to call Queens District RCMP at (902) 368-9300.

Correction : A previous version of this story said police were looking for information about three people walking around Mount Stewart, as per the information police originally released. Police later amended the information to say the people were in Mount Herbert.(Dec 09, 2016 11:29 AM)
