Three teenagers have been charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a Circle K Irving in Moncton over the weekend.

Kalya Gould, 18, and David Cormier, 19, both from Moncton, and Brian Pellerin, 19, of Saint-Paul, are accused of various offences in relation to the early Sunday morning incident.

Codiac Regional RCMP say two people entered the gas station and convenience store located on Elmwood Drive shortly after 3:30 a.m.

One individual, who was wearing a mask and holding a knife, demanded money, Const. Michel Martel said in a statement.

Both individuals left with an undisclosed amount of cash, said Martel.

A short time later, three suspects were arrested.

The three accused remain remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear in Moncton provincial court on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
