43-year-old man dead after Bay d'Espoir crash

A 43-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash near on the Trans-Canada Highway near Bay d'Espoir early Friday morning.
Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP were called shortly after 5 a.m. NT by a passing motorist who reported a vehicle left the highway and rolled down an embankment east of the Bay d'Espoir Junction.
The man, who was the vehicle's lone occupant, died at the scene, say police.
A media release from the police says a collision reconstructionist with RCMP traffic services has been to the scene and the province's chief medical examiner is involved in the investigation.
