Sofía Vergara was stepping out to soak up some late-May sunshine this weekend.
The actress, 49, donned a leopard print Dolce & Gabbana one-piece swimsuit that showed off her seriously toned booty.
Sofía loves targeting her glutes during workouts, and often does incline walks on the treadmill.
Throwing on a bathing suit when it’s the weekend just hits different, and Sofía Vergara knows exactly what I'm talking about. The Modern Family alum shared a few jaw-dropping pics on Instagram of herself wearing a gorgeous leopard-print one-piece swimsuit over the weekend, and it is simply everything.
In the photos, the 49-year-old shows off her seriously toned legs, booty, and arms from all angles. “Finally the weekend!!🥳🥳 solecito🌞🌞 #hm #gettingreadyforsummer 🕶,” she wrote in the caption.
And, understandably, everyone promptly freaked out. “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!??” wrote her Modern Family co-star Sarah Hyland. “Goalssssss🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍,” someone else wrote.
Sofía is pretty focused on her fitness game, and it shows. But her go-to moves are super approachable. Her trainer, Jennifer Yates, previously told Marie Claire back in 2017 that her client is all about walking on the treadmill at a high incline (sounds familiar to a recent TikTok trend... eh?). "She doesn't like to run,” Yates said. “Sometimes she'll get on the spin bike for 15 minutes, but she prefers to walk on a high incline.”
Sofía is all about consistency, too, logging up to seven days a week of working out. Still, she loves her curves and isn't trying to change that. "Sofía wants to build muscle and have that look—she likes curves," Yates said. "She'll spin to get cardio in, but walking is effective for her."
Sofía has also worked with trainer Julio Cruz, who she relies on to get a sculpted booty, E! reports. He recommends cycling through exercises like reverse lunges, hip bridges, and toes-out squats to get a Sofia-level butt.
Sofía is big into Pilates-style workouts, too, doing the high-intensity, low-impact Lagree Method that Yates told People is like “bodybuilding morphed into Pilates.” She also uses something called a Megaformer machine to get results.
“She loves working the butt,” Yates told the outlet. “We do a lot of squats and deadlifts and lunges, and we do a lot of things off the machine as well. Recently we’ve been combining some of the heavier weights for the lower body because she’s trying to put a little more mass on, so we’ve been doing a lot of work with kettle bells. She’s really strong.”
“I do have a lot of fruits and vegetables, and we cook fresh meats,” Sofía told SELF of mealtimes with her husband, Joe Manganiello. “But I also have ice cream and dessert and we do that during the weekend.” During the weeks, she shies away from the more indulgent treats.
You go, Sofía!
