A heavyweight of reality TV returns tonight as the 16th series of The Apprentice begins on BBC One, with Lord Sugar on the hunt for a new business partner to back.

Those looking for inspiration on making their millions in 2022 can also tune into the new series of Dragon's Den tonight, beginning on BBC One just before The Apprentice airs.

New comedy drama Screw, set inside a men's prison, begins on Channel 4 while earlier in the evening they air a new episode of returning animal charity documentary The Dog House.

ITV offers sobering documentary The Real Anne: Unfinished Business, a companion to recent drama series Anne, about the mother of one of the victims of the Hillsborough disaster.

Lord Sugar returns to the boardroom for the 16th series of his reality show looking for a new business partner, having taken two years off from it during the pandemic.

The business hopefuls are as outlandish in their claims of greatness as ever, but who actually has the goods to back up their boasting?

Flanking Lord Sugar this time are Karren Brady and series one winner Tim Campbell as the group take on the first challenge - to market a luxury cruise liner, which means cringeworthy amateur TV ads are on the horizon.

Business brains at the ready on BBC One this evening - Dragon's Den is also returning for a new series.

This time, Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies are joined by new Dragon Steven Bartlett, the show's youngest ever investor at 29.

He's made his fortune through social media marketing, so he should have some choice words for a couple of cheesemongers in tonight's episode who have ploughed an enormous amount of money into an app.

Channel 4 introduces this new comedy drama tonight set in a men's prison, Long Marsh, and featuring the inmates and the officers they exist alongside.

Prison officer Leigh Henry, played by Nina Sosanya, is jaded by the system and finds loopholes in the rules to help the prisoners in her care.

But with her job under threat, bad times could be ahead for the inmates as well as Leigh, who is secretly living at the facility.

The Real Anne: Unfinished Business - ITV - 9pm

This companion documentary to the drama Anne, starring Maxine Peake, looks at the events of the 1989 Hillsborough disaster.

It features the story of the late Anne Williams, the Merseyside mum whose 15-year-old son Kevin was killed in the disaster, and who spent three decades fighting for justice for him and the 96 others who died.

Peake meets relatives of the victims and survivors to discover more about the cover-ups over the incident, the 2016 inquest that changed the cause of death from accidental to unlawfully killed, and the fact that still no one has been held accountable.

The Wood Green animal charity is opening its doors once again for this documentary series which shows the labour of love involved in matching rescue dogs with their new owners.

In tonight's episode, a woman with anxiety is looking for a new pet, a partially-sighted dog is in need of a new family, and a young woman who's had a tough time recently falls in love with her perfect match.
