5 Dead, Including 2 Children, in Murder-Suicide at Apartment Complex in Atlanta: Reports

Five people have been killed in a murder-suicide in Atlanta, according to multiple reports.
Three adults and two young children — including a five-year-old girl and a one-year-old baby boy — were found shot to death by police in an apartment complex in DeKalb County at around 7:30 p.m. local time on Saturday, Dec. 7, per Fox 5 Atlanta, Atlanta News First and NBC affiliate news outlet 11 Alive.
Police went to check on the apartment building after being called about a welfare check, Atlanta News First reported.
The adult victims were identified as a 43-year-old woman, a 32-year-old ma and a 26-year-old woman, the outlets said. Their names have not yet been released.

Police are investigating the incident as a domestic-related murder-suicide, per Fox 5 Atlanta, Atlanta News First and 11 Alive.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
