52-year-old man killed in snowmobile accident outside Quebec City

A 52-year-old man is dead following a snowmobile accident Friday evening in Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly, southwest of Quebec City.

The man was riding with two others along a path when he went off the track, collided with a small shed and was thrown from his vehicle.

The Sûreté du Québec were called just before 11 p.m. that night.

An investigation is under way to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.

So far, there have been 7 fatal accidents on Quebec's trails this season.
