6 men charged in Alberta Hells Angels investigation

Members of the ALERT team wore heavy protective gear as they entered a home in west Edmonton near 159th Street and 83rd Avenue Wednesday morning. The operation was part of an investigation into activity by the Hells Angels.

Six men alleged to be members of the Hells Angels have been charged after police executed 10 search warrants across the province on Wednesday.

The men, who range in age from 33 to 50, face organized crime charges.

Seven of the properties that were searched are in Edmonton.

Other warrants were executed in Acheson, Strathcona County and Leduc.

ALERT, the coalition of Alberta police organizations conducting the Hells Angels investigation, could lay more charges and make more arrests.
