6-Year-Old Student Praying for Her Teacher to Find Perfect Match: 'I Wanted to Pray for Her'
On Tuesday, Emora told Jennifer Hudson how she is helping her teacher Angelique Williams find love
A 6-year-old student is hoping to help her teacher find her perfect match.
On Tuesday, the student, Emora, and her teacher Angelique Williams joined The Jennifer Hudson Show to unpack how Emora is helping Williams find love. Emora went viral in October for a video of her praying for Williams to find a husband.
"This child won’t leave me alone!!! Every time she see me she ask…Dean Williams did your husband find you🤣," Williams captioned the Instagram video of Emora praying for her. "This has been going on since last school year😩 I give her my answer every time 'No' and she did this today👀 …With her girls pumping her up at the end."
Williams said on the show that the conversation started during the last school year, when she and Emora were sitting together after school. Emora turned to her and asked if she had a husband, Williams recalled.
"I said, 'No,'" Williams told Jennifer Hudson. "'Why would you ask me that?' She said, 'Because you're pretty.' And I said, 'Just cause you pretty baby don't mean you're gonna have a husband.'"

When Williams saw Emora for the first time this school year, the first thing Emora asked was if she'd found a husband yet instead of welcoming her back, Williams said. Since then, Emora has continued to ask her the same question.
"When she told me when she was single I wanted to pray for her," Emora told Hudson, 42.

Williams explained that she and Emora share a special connection. On the show, they demonstrated the handshake the two of them created together. They also discussed how they've talked about the qualities Williams needs in a partner.
"She needs a man that cooks for her," Emora said. She also had the audience laughing when she got up and told the audience, "If you have a husband that plays on the video games all day, you better break up with him!"
