At 62, Sharon Stone isn’t slowing down any time soon. In fact, she’s only going bigger and bolder as Lenore Osgood in Ryan Murphy’s new Netflix drama Ratched. In character, Stone rocks platinum blonde hair, lots of fur, and a fabulous pop of red lipstick.

But when she’s not all glammed up on set, Stone also likes to keep it real, especially on social media. In late August, she posted a selfie as she sported a dark turtleneck, tousled hair, and minimal makeup—and her skin steals the show!

While the mom of three makes beauty a priority, she says she has no desire to look the exact same way she did in her twenties. Instead, Stone has decided to embrace aging gracefully, and it definitely shows.

“This idea that being youthful is the only thing that’s beautiful or attractive simply isn’t true. I don’t want to be an ‘ageless beauty,’” Stone previously told Shape. “I want to be a woman who is the best I can be at my age.”

Preach! Here’s everything we know about Stone’s skincare routine, as well as the products she’s given special shout outs to.

She keeps things pretty simple in the morning.

Stone is “not a person who believes in a ton of different steps” so she’s all about keeping it to a minimum in the A.M. “I don’t do much in the morning,” Stone told The New York Times. “I wash my face with water and brush my teeth.” To keep her pearly whites nice and clean, she loves the Arm & Hammer Bright & Strong Truly Radiant Toothpaste.

Moisturizer is everything.

If she’s learned anything from her mother, it’s that a good moisturizer can work wonders. In fact, the one cream Stone has been using since she was 12 years old was vetted and recommended by her mom.

“My mom was an Avon lady, and she gave me a jar of Avon Rich Moisture Cream,” Stone told Allure. “She said, ‘Put this on morning and night and you’ll thank me for the rest of your life.’” That jar of cream has stuck with her 50 years later. “I’m still thanking her. It makes my skin look plumper and more radiant,” she previously told Redbook.

While she likes La Mer’s cult favorite creams, she is also a huge fan of one that comes in under $20: Weleda’s Skin Food. Stone says this is a great cream that’s “terrific for the face and body,” especially if she’s in an area that tends to have a dry climate.

SPF is a must-have.

In case you need to be reminded about the importance of sunscreen, let us remind you of the science. Wearing SPF is one of the best ways to not only slow down the signs of aging, but possibly even reverse them by reducing dark spots, improving texture, and boosting brightness, according to 2016 research in the journal Dermatologic Surgery.

And Stone told The New York Times she protects her skin with a drugstore product: Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Moisture With SPF 15 (although we recommend going for 30+!)

She loves a good scrub.

Stone doesn’t hold back with her shower routine. She revealed that she’s adamant about using body scrubs to exfoliate, so she has several open at a time. “I’m very Scandinavian in that I think it’s important to scrub your skin,” she said.

She’s also “nuts” about The Ritual of Happy Buddha Foaming Shower Gel and The Ritual of Dao Foaming Shower Gel. “When I’m taking a bath or shower, I love Rituals Bath Foam, which I get off Amazon,” Stone explains. “My oldest son is now hooked on those, too.” She then slathers on a lotion from Eucerin, which she calls a “really good, easy-to-get product.”

Her makeup is all about hydration, too.

If Stone wants to wear foundation, she uses different products depending on the occasion she’s getting ready for. But they all have one thing in common: They’re super hydrating.

In general, she likes the Chantecaille Future Skin (also a favorite of Jane Fonda’s), but her daily go-to is the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50+, which Stone describes as a “heavily tinted moisturizer with sunblock.”

For events, she’ll go for the “fantastic” Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation, paired with the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is she wants extra coverage. Stone’s look changes frequently, but she’ll make everything pop with one of her “staples,” the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in the shade “Cruella.”

She prioritizes inner beauty.

For Stone, beauty starts from within, so she avoids heavily processed foods, caffeine, soda, and alcohol. “But I eat meat and dark chocolate. I sugar my tea if I feel like it. I have celiac disease, so I don’t eat gluten. Otherwise, I just eat like a person—whatever I’m hungry for,” she told The New York Times.

As for fitness? You won’t find her on a treadmill, she says. Instead, she prefers Pilates, circuit training, or even breaking a sweat through dancing.

“For me, it’s more about real inner beauty,” she added. “It’s important to have a philosophy or way of life or faith that keeps you balanced. For me, that has been Buddhism. It’s something that brings you back to center, and is really the key to serenity and beauty—an internal sense of form and elegance.”
