Jane Harris is back in Neighbours and this time she is here to stay, but will she and Nicolette find a way to resolve their issues? Meanwhile, Levi Canning struggles to forgive Sheila, and Yashvi Rebecchi investigates drug issues at the school.
Here are nine Neighbours spoilers to look forward to next week.
1. Levi refuses to forgive Sheila
The revelation that Sheila knew more about the attack on Levi in Frankston than she ever let on continues to wreak havoc on her family, and it could be something Levi will never be able to get past. While Kyle worries about his gran's dodgy heart and urges Levi to make peace, all this does is further drive a wedge between the two cousins that threatens to turn violent.
Levi is more determined than ever that he will not move back into number 26 and sets about trying to find somewhere else to live, which results in Bea suggesting he lives with them. Levi is excited until he later hears Susan has said no. What will he do now?
2. Drugs are found at Erinsborough High
All has been quiet on the drugs front since Harlow's narrow escape from a stint behind bars, but that all changes when she and Hendrix stumble upon a pack of the same pills taped to a bin at Erinsborough High. The police soon get involved and Yashvi begins questioning her former schoolmates, coming to believe that a suspicious Ollie is the mystery dealer.
Spotting him at the complex, she finds matching tape to the one that was used with the drugs and is confident her assumption was right all along. But is there more to this than she realises?
3. Nicolette learns Chloe is married
Nicolette had eyes on Chloe from the moment they met and next week she attempts to get to know her more. The two bond in The Waterhole and sensing a spark between them, Nicolette takes the opportunity to ask her out. But she gets a double shock when she learns that Chloe is married to Pierce and is pregnant with his child.
Nicolette is quick to make a hasty escape when she finds out, leaving Chloe to find her later and clear the air. But is Chloe's current situation enough to put Nicolette off?
4. Jane returns to town
Hearing that Nicolette is in town is enough for Jane to fly over to see her, but when she arrives, she explains to her friends how bad things are with her daughter. While Jane and Des were caught up in their romantic reunion, Nicolette made her feelings clear and her harsh words were enough for Des to decide to walk away for good.
A devastated Jane disowned Nicolette as a result, and while she is regretful, she thinks that she may have destroyed the relationship for good. With them both having things to apologise for, is there a way back for Jane and Nicolette?
5. Emmett has an accident
Emmett having his brother Brent around has been a worry for David and Aaron, as the teen is clearly a bad influence. But while they have agreed he can stay at number 32, they both realise he needs to be kept an eye on and he proves that by persuading Emmett to climb on the roof.
The brothers talk and bond while sitting up there, but Emmett becomes nervous about getting down. When Aaron comes outside and scolds them for being reckless, Emmett fumbles his descent and hits the ground hard. He is rushed to the hospital, but will he face permanent injuries from the fall?
6. Paul delivers a shocking truth to Pierce
Paul, for reasons only known to himself, has had an issue with Pierce and Chloe for some time and next week sees him gleefully reveal some information that leads to tension for the couple. Irritated when Pierce tells him that he is enjoying him being nice because of the baby, Paul takes the opportunity to reveal that he knew about her pregnancy before Pierce did.
Pierce and Chloe row over the revelation, but the argument is disrupted by news from Adelaide – Fay Brennan's condition has worsened and Chloe makes plans to leave straight away.
7. Aaron and David face a difficult choice
While it looks as though Emmett has avoided serious injury, Aaron and Brent are still at loggerheads over the accident, with them both blaming each other for the fall. With Brent angry and resigned to the thought that his time at number 32 has come to an end, Harlow steps in to try and cheer him up and she sees a much nicer side to him.
Aaron and David later spot his caring side too and find themselves unsure whether they should make him leave. With them both having a close relationship with their own siblings, can they tear two brothers apart?
8. Jane oversteps with Nicolette
Thrilled after hearing that Nicolette was on hand to help an injured Emmett, Jane investigates ways of keeping her in Erinsborough and asks Clive for help. Asking him and then Karl if they would be able to find her work at the hospital, the two are apprehensive about interfering.
With Jane persistent, they agree and when Karl broaches the subject with Nicolette, she instantly knows her mum put him up to it and warns her not to interfere with her life. It seems that, while well-intentioned, Jane's plan may have caused more damage.
9. Susan has a nightmare return to work
It appears the relaxing break away from Erinsborough did not prepare Susan for her return to work, but then she probably was not expecting to come back during a drugs scandal.
It soon becomes clear how serious the problem is and trying to put out fires from all angles proves to be tough on Susan, who resorts to locking herself in her office in the throws of another panic attack.
When she does emerge and Jane offers to help her, Susan is delighted to accept, but is she going to become a bit too reliant on Jane?
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
