Province-wide cell service issues appear to have been behind emergency call woes in Regina on Monday morning.

Regina police said their call centre experienced difficulties with incoming 911 calls from cellphones.

Calls made between 9:54 a.m. and 10:48 a.m. CST had problems such as no voice path, a fast busy signal, dropped calls and disconnected calls.

Around 4:30 p.m., police reported that the problem had been resolved.
