Accused: Mike Colter, Sonequa Martin-Green Among Fox Drama’s Final Season 2 Castings

Mike Colter (Evil) and Sonequa Martin-Green (Star Trek: Discovery) are among the final flurry of castings for Season 2 of Fox’s Accused crime anthology.

Based on the BBC’s BAFTA Award-winning crime anthology and developed by Howard Gordon, Fox’s Accused each season serves up collection of topical and human stories of crime and punishment. Told from the defendant’s point of view through flashbacks, each episode promises a provocative thriller, exploring a different crime, in a different city, and with an entirely original cast.

As reported by Deadline, Martin-Green will headline the season finale, “Megan’s Story,” in which a music bigwig’s marriage is threatened by a seductress. Colter and Kiara Barnes (Fox’s Fantasy Island) also star in that episode.

Sherri Saum (The Fosters) and Jamie Chung (The Gifted) also have been cast, as detailed in the episode list below.

Accused Season 2 premieres Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 8/7c (where it will lead into the freshman drama Murder in a Small Town, starring Rossif Sutherland and Kristin Kreuk). Check out the main cast for seven of the new season’s eight episodes below:
