Adele has said that her boyfriend was 'livid' after a fan was videoed trying to give her his phone number while she performed in Las Vegas.

In a viral video from the weekend, Adele is performing her residency show at Caesars Palace when a man can be seen passing her a note. The singer starts laughing before passing the note back.

She responded to the viral moment at her next show, commenting: "Someone texted me something this morning saying that a guy tried to give me his number last night when I was walking through this way. He wasn’t, he was just trying to make me buy a car from him."

Adele also revealed the not exactly happy reaction from her boyfriend Rich Paul: "I told my boyfriend, he was livid… He was like, 'that man’s getting put to sleep'."

Adele began her long delayed Las Vegas residency last month on November 18 and the concert series will be running until 25 March, 2023.

The residency was originally supposed to begin in January before being postponed at the last minute over issues relating to the show's production.

Adele is only performing 23 dates during the show, all on weekends.

She recently revealed she nearly cancelled the first show due to feeling under the weather.

She told the crowd at a show: “You’re not gonna believe me, you’re gonna think I want a tiny violin to come out and start playing behind my tears, so last week I was sick as a f***ing dog, right? I was like, ‘S***, if it’s solely my fault for not being able to perform this Friday, I’m done, I’m gonna fall off the face of the earth.’”

The residency has largely received very positive reviews from critics.
