Adele has shown off a brand new curly-haired look whilst sharing her appreciation for fellow singer Beyoncé's brand new visual album Black Is King.

Beyoncé released the musical film, which she directed, wrote and executive-produced as well as performed in, on Friday (July 31) on Disney+ and Adele is clearly a huge fan of the project.

The singer shared a photo of herself on Instagram which shows her, complete with a long, curly hairstyle, kneeling in front of her wall-mounted TV while it shows Black Is King and holding her hand up to the screen.

Adele took her love one step further by wearing the same moon-print top as the one worn by Beyoncé and her dancers in the scene on screen and captioning the post, "Thank you Queen for always making us all feel so loved through your art".

Her followers were very keen to suggest a team-up between the two powerhouse singers, with Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams commenting "drop the collab" and BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw writing "TWO QUEENS STAND BEFORE ME".

Black Is King, which serves as a visual companion to Beyoncé's 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift, features guest appearances by Beyoncé's husband, rapper Jay-Z, and their three children Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir.

Kelly Rowland, Pharrell Williams, Lupita Nyong'o, Naomi Campbell and Wizkid also feature in the film.

Black Is King, which follows Beyoncé's role in Disney's 2019 live-action remake of The Lion King as adult Nala, "reimagines the lessons of The Lion King for today's young kings and queens in search of their own crowns".

The official synopsis describes it as "a tale about a young king's transcendent journey through betrayal, love and self-identity" which shines a light on "the voyages of Black families throughout time".

Adele meanwhile has reportedly had her musical comeback delayed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with her manager Jonathan Dickins recently dismissing rumours that she will be releasing a new album in September.

Black Is King is available now on Disney+ globally.
