Agriculturalists to be honoured
On Wednesday night, November 22, three local agriculturists will be recognized at the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce’s 77th Annual Rural Urban Awards.
Hanna Reid, of Ridgetown, is the Junior Agriculturist of the Year.
Jim Campbell, of Ridge Line, has been named Agriculturist of the Year.
Anne Verhallen, of River Line Thamesville, will receive the Friend of Agriculture award.
The fourth award will be presented to Bob and Diane Devoler of Devolder Farms in Dover Centre.
The awards will be presented at the 77th Annual Rural Urban Awards on Wednesday at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham.
The evening begins with a reception for the honourees at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m., and the awards presentation. Tickets are $60 each (+ hst) and available online at www.chatham-kentchamber.ca
