Alabama wide receiver Robert Foster was injured over the weekend after being struck by a car while riding a dirt bike.

According to BamaInsider.com, the accident occurred Saturday evening in the parking lot of the Crimson Tide’s football facility and resulted in Foster needing 27 stitches. The senior posted pictures of the damage on social media and said he did not break any bones.

Foster, a top-50 recruit out of the Pittsburgh area in 2013, caught just five passes for 55 yards last season but is expected to have a larger role in 2017 as a senior. In his three seasons with the Tide, Foster has 21 catches for 205 yards and two touchdowns. Foster had 115 receiving yards during the Tide’s spring game earlier this year.

It’s unclear if his injuries from the weekend will impact his availability for preseason camp later this summer.
