Alanis Morissette announces second pregnancy with touching animated video

Alanis Morissette has announced that she and her husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second child. The Canadian singer shared the happy news in a special animated video.

Alanis announced her news with this animated video.

The "You Oughta Know" singer and her husband of almost six years are already parents to their five-year-old son Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway and this year they'll be adding to their little family.

The songstress thought of an extra special way to announce the news to her beau, by recording a song with Guy Sigsworth "on the sly" before her son's birth in 2010.

Once the song was completed, Brendan Huza animated a music video that she said "helped tell our story in moving pictures, bringing us up to this sweet moment."

"May this song take on ever-deepening meaning as each year goes by," Alanis wrote on her official website alongside the unique video.

The GRAMMY winner married Souleye in a private ceremony at their Los Angeles home on May 22, 2010. She gave birth to their son on Dec. 25 the same year.

Alanis previously dated fellow Canadian Ryan Reynolds. The pair met at Drew Barrymore's birthday party in 2002 and started dating soon after. The duo announced their engagement in June 2004 but in February 2007, they went their separate ways. The brunette admitted that her Flavors of Entanglement album was created out of her grief after the break up.
