Alia Bhatt opts out of Aanand L. Rai-Shah Rukh Khan's movie in a clever way

The hunt for the leading ladies for Shah Rukh Khan - Aanand L. Rai’s next still continues. Rumours were rife that Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif were approached for the roles. While Katrina is still in the running Deepika opted out of the project because of her commitment to Padmavati which is being helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.

Later reports made the rounds that Alia was approached for the role too but it looks like the actress has also cited date issues to opt out of the movie which will see Shah Rukh playing the role of a dwarf. But the way in which Alia opted out of the movie is an interesting story indeed. She didn’t want to be in the bad books of Shah Rukh as he was nothing but humble when he starred in Alia’s Dear Zindagi as a supporting character.
