It’s almost back-to-school time in Centre County. See school district calendars for 2024-25

With just weeks until students return to classes, Centre County schools are preparing for the start of the year.

Most districts this year will start after the Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair, including the State College Area School District, whose calendar has conflicted with the Centre Hall event in recent years.

The Centre Daily Times has compiled a list of local schools’ first days, breaks and other important dates for the 2024-2025 school year.

First day: Aug. 27

Thanksgiving break: Nov. 27-29

Winter break: Dec. 23-Jan. 3

Spring vacation days: April 18, May 26

Last day: June 4

BELLEFONTE AREA

First day: Aug. 27

Thanksgiving break: Nov. 27-29
