"We were getting up to leave and [Kate] saw us and she followed us to talk to us," Aly told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush at the Olympics in London, of meeting the Duchess earlier this week in London. "She said that she thought that we were really amazing and she liked all of our leotards.

"I told her I loved her fashion and she was really nice," she added.

And the Duchess more than lived up to Aly's expectations, wowing the gymnast with her charming humility.

"She just felt like a normal human being, which was cool," she said. "It makes me like her even more [because] she's so down to earth."
