Amal Clooney Embraces Casual Elegance in a Sleeveless Turtleneck Dress
Amal Clooney is a vision of elegance both on and off the red carpet.
The human rights lawyer was photographed wearing a lovely casual look that was perfect for the current transition between summer and fall. For a day out in NYC with her husband, George Clooney, Amal wore an off-white ribbed sweater dress by Stella McCartney, a sleeveless maxi-length piece which featured a cozy turtleneck.
She paired the dress with heeled knee-high boots, in a shade of black with red trim, and accessorizes including oversized sunglasses and a cream-toned crossbody bag. She also wore her hair in tousled curls with a side part, as well as a muted pink lip.
Meanwhile, the Gravity actor wore a navy polo shirt, classic jeans, gray lace-up shoes, and a pair of blue sunglasses.
Earlier this month, the couple showed off their date-night style at a pair of events celebrating the world premiere of the actor's new rom-com Ticket to Paradise, which also stars Julia Roberts. For the film's London premiere, Amal looked gorgeous in an icy pale blue gown with sequins arranged in a classic chevron pattern.
She paired the luminescent slipdress with a pair of champagne-colored pumps and accessories including diamond chandelier earrings, a floral diamond bracelet, and a metallic rectangular clutch.
The lawyer changed into a brighter shimmering look for the premiere's after party, pairing a yellow sequined minidress, featuring a mock turtleneck and long sleeves that flared at the cuffs, with reflective silver pointed-toe slingback pumps. Her accessories included a matching silver clutch and large diamond stud earrings.
Meanwhile, the Up in the Air actor traded his classic navy three-piece suit and white dress shirt for a casual black polo shirt, which he paired with a matching black jacket, classic medium-wash jeans, and gray shoes with yellow shoelaces.
