American Idol has crowned its winner of season 21.
Last night (May 21) finalists Iam Tongi, Megan Danielle and Colin Stough battled it out one last time to win over America's voters – with Iam Tongi coming out on top.
Tongi's final performance saw the teenager performing several songs, including 'I'll Be Seeing You', and 'Cool Down'. While his soulful rendition of Keith Urban's 'Making Memories of Us' in memory of his late father left judge Katy Perry overwhelmed with emotion.
Runner up Danielle sang 'God Whispered Your Name,' 'Faithfully' and 'Dream Girl' while third placed Stough took to the stage to sing 'Stupid Boy' and 'Either Way'.
