'Bachelor' ends in 2nd proposal and big announcement

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Becca Kufrin were reunited on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, for the first time since Arie called off their engagement to pursue Lauren Burnham. When Becca asked Arie why he proposed to her even though he wasn't ready, he said "The pressure of being the Bachelor, knowing there is a timeline and having to make that decision on that day." Arie apologized and Becca was kind enough to forgive him. She said, "I mean, you were my fiance, and I did fall in love with you, but at this point too, I've moved on. I'm ready for the next chapter of my life, to be better, to find someone who is better suited for me." Becca didn't have to wait long for love because it was later announced that she would be the next Bachelorette. In fact, she even got an opportunity to meet some of the bachelors from her season. Arie and Lauren revealed that they started dating shortly after the engagement was called off. And luckily for Arie, Lauren did watch the first night of the finale. In that episode Arie professed his love for Becca and then betrayed her and called off the engagement. Even though she didn't see how Arie's mess was resolved, she was still proud of him. She said, "I think that he did an amazing job at handling this whole thing. And he couldn't have gone about it in a more respectful way, and I'm really proud of him." And since it doesn't get more romantic than talking about your ex-fiancee, Arie thought this was the perfect time to use his Neil Lane "buy one, get one 50% off" coupon on another engagement ring. Arie proposed to Lauren, who said "definitely." And the two revealed they would be going out of the country until the heat from Arie's decision dies down.
