Amy Adams' mom Kathryn has always been an active multitasker.

The Nightbitch actress, 50, said on Live with Kelly and Mark that her mother not only raised seven children but did so while exercising and chasing her bodybuilding goals at the same time.

"I can’t even imagine [how she did it],” Adams said. “I mean, my mom is pretty remarkable in that she had a lot of energy. Still has a lot of energy.”

“She’s in her 70s, just got a knee replacement and is already doing stuff,” she continued. “She’s already working, talking about going back to the gym.”

Co-host Kelly Ripa asked Adams about her mother going into “bodybuilding” right after having her seven kids, something the actress noted made her a “good inspiration.” They also displayed a photo of her mom during the amateur bodybuilding competition.

“It’s amazing,” co-host Mark Consuelos said, to which Adams responded, “I know.”

"My abs have never looked like that!” she joked. “I don’t know. I’m sure I could get tips from her but, like, even leading up to her knee surgery she was like, ‘My knee hurts, I did a long bike ride today.' And I was like, ‘Maybe a bike ride isn’t what you should be doing.’ ”

“But she’s one of those people that likes to stay active,” she added.

The Enchanted actress also said when it comes to raising her own daughter, Aviana, 14, she had “a blast.”

“My husband [Darren Le Gallo] is a really good make-believe artist, and so he kind of took over all the make-believe play,” she shared. “I would try to, and my daughter would be like [no].”

“I think I was maybe a little too committed,” she joked. “[It’s] not as much fun. She’s like, ‘Mom, we don’t really cry in this game. But my husband and her just had this wonderful play. He’s very childlike.”

Adams also revealed on the show that her daughter has no plans of following in her footsteps.

"If it feeds her soul and she loves it, I’m here for it," she said. "But so far she has no interest."

However, when it comes to traveling with her mom for her career — especially to New York City — her daughter is the first to raise her hand. “She loves New York, it’s her favorite city, so she never misses an opportunity to come.”

Nightbitch is in select theaters now.
