Angolan differentials up slightly on rapid sales

LONDON (Reuters) - Differentials on the remaining Angolan cargoes for June export are expected to be higher than those sold when the programme was first released, traders said on Thursday. June cargoes came to market at or below where they traded for May, causing buyers to pile in quickly, but the rapid sales mean the remaining vessels will sell at slightly firmer differentials, traders said. A substantial majority of cargoes available for June loading have been snapped up a little more than a week after they came to market, with traders saying there are only around 12 of 52 yet to find buyers. Nigerian cargoes had yet to start actively trading on the spot market, but some traders thought that they may be supported by the swift sales of Angolan crude. Nigeria is to export around 1.8 million barrels per day of crude oil in June, compared to an initially planned 1.53 million bpd in May, data from trade sources showed on Wednesday. [ID:nL6N0NF3NF] NIGERIA * Qua Iboe: Twelve cargoes will load in June. Exxon offered at dated Brent plus $3.10, with traders predicting it would trade at around 50 cents lower than this. * There will be six cargoes of Forcados exported in June. This is up from the five in May, but most of the May cargoes were deferrals from April, with production hit by a leak. Shell said on Wednesday the grade is still under a force majeure. ANGOLA * Heavier grades sold quickly, with Pazflor and Dalia totally sold out, traders said. * Only Girassol and Dalia grades had multiple cargoes still for sale. * Girassol: Offered at dated Brent plus $1.90. ASIAN TENDERS * BPCL failed to buy any vessels in a tender, sources said.
