Anicinabe Park occupation marks 50th anniversary

In Kenora, Ont., this summer marks the 50th anniversary of the Anicinabe Park occupation. The armed standoff drew international attention in 1974 when members of the Ojibway Warrior Society occupied the park to demand equality and better treatment for Indigenous communities. Now, as Melissa Ridgen explains, organizers are remembering and renewing those original calls to action on this National Indigenous Peoples Day.
